Grove White mentions Ada O'Brien married to Lieut Colonel Surgeon O'Brien:

"He was succeeded at Springville by his son Charles Daly, Solicitor
and Coroner. 'On the latter's death the holding came into the possession
of his daughter, Mrs. Ada O'Brien, wife of Brigade Surgeon Lieut.-Colonel
O'Brien who sold her interest to Deputy Inspector-General George Bolster, in 1892."

Joseph O’Brien was born on 8 January 1844. Educated at Queen’s College, Cork and Ledwick School, Dublin, he gained an M.A. in 1869, M.D. in 1870 and was appointed M.R.C.S. in 1869, L.R.C.P. and S.Ed. in 1870. Appointed an Assistant Surgeon in the Indian Medical Service in 1870, he was promoted Surgeon in 1873. As such he served in the Naga Hills with the 44th Bengal Native Infantry during 1879-80 and was present at the action of Konoma (Despatches GGO 123 and 405 of 1880).

Promoted Surgeon Major in 1882, he was appointed F.R.C.S. Edinburgh in 1887, and promoted Brigade Surgeon Lieutenant-Colonel in 1896. He retired on an extra pension on 19 August 1898, and died at Instow, Devon on 29 December 1921.

There are no sights of them in the irish census.
I searched for all O'Brien females, married and of a sensible age.
All O'briens who were surgeons and Lieutenants. All joseph O'briens and all Eugene O'briens.

Since CJ Daly made birth announcements in the paper, there may be evidence there.
